Wilson Mullen Mouth Snaffle Bit is manufactured by Abbey Bits. The Wilson bit is made of stainless steel with a choice of a 5 or 6 inch mullen mouth. Rings are 3″ in diameter.

Mullen mouth bits are easy on the mouth, they do not produce the ‘nutcracker’ action of jointed bits. The double rings on this bit are slightly more harsh than a regular single ring snaffle bit.

The Wilson snaffle bit is most often used as a driving bit. The rings on the bit help guide the horse to the side for turning the carriage.
