Eggbutt snaffle bit with narrow mullen mouth by Abbey bits. These bits are made in England. The bit features:

• Available in 6 and 6-1/2 inch sizes mullen mouth piece
• Mouth piece is narrower than the standard eggbutt bit to allow for more control
• Non-rusting stainless steel construction
• 3 1/2″ ring diameter
• Hinged, non-pinching cheek pieces
• Gentle eggbutt action with no nutcracker
• Excellent bit for riding or driving

The components for Abbey bits are manufactured from castings using the “lost wax” technique that produces a much finer detail and finish than the traditional sand cast steel. Where unusual parts are required they are fabricated by hand in our workshops using high quality steel bar.
